I cherish and respect the lake and I feel it is important for today’s kids to learn about the lake’s eco system, the reality of harvesting fish commercially and the fact that it provides a great food source right at their door step. I am offering a program, based on cultural heritage, technical know-how of the fishing trade and a field trip on to the lake. This includes classroom sessions, demonstrations of fishing tools and jigger, building fish picks, learning about fish and their habitat and how to protect it, setting and lifting a fish net, camp chores and a fresh fish fry with bannock and tea.

I also teach how to filet and how to determine certain information and scientific data from caught fish.

Although most of my educational programs are geared towards school children, I also offer courses for adults.
